About
The origins of FIND
Created by Robert Koester, Author of Lost Person Behavior
Dr. Koester‘s Research
Robert Koester studied wandering patterns in lost subjects with demensia. The resulting find statistics are used on missing person searches and result in shorter times to finding the subject.
Lost Person Behavior
Bob expands his research to eventually cover over 20 lost person categories and published the book Lost Person Behavior which becomes a standard resource for SAR Teams across the US and beyond.

SBIR Investment
Building good software is difficult and expensive. It was through a Federal Small Business Innovation Research grant that FIND was able to be created. Years of work and testing at many SAR exercises around the country enabled us to make FIND available for organizations of all sizes.
Multi user off-grid capable SAR management
After multiple SAR exercises to work with teams and test the software, we honed in on the tools you need to do your workflow, and make the whole process faster, more accurate, and the whole purpose is to make finds faster.
